Three rules for writing your own
Keep it short. The information a guest actually needs is the date, the time and the venue; long wording pushes them down the page.
Check the spelling of the names twice. Names are fixed at payment, and changing them afterwards needs a support request.
Say what you want from the guest. If you want an RSVP, ask for one — a line like “please let us know if you can make it” raises the response rate visibly.
